So I’m sitting on my bed and watching the clock. I need to get to bed because I have another temp agency interview tomorrow morning, but I need to re-hash tonight’s events before I can sleep.  I’m so tired so this won’t make the most sense ever, but here goes…

I went over to P’s house and we left for the 1.5 hour drive to the baseball stadium. He has a Corvette (you can laugh but it’s a nice ride) so that made the ride pretty fun. He actually talked a normal amount. He did play his iPod kind of loud, but everytime either of us talked, he turned it down. It was a bit awkward here and there, and I definitely felt like my feelings were turning to the more friend rather than the boyfriend kind. We did realize we have common ground in that we both watch One Tree Hill. Love that show by the way. What is up with Q being killed off? Grrr!! I digress… So we arrived at the sports bar where we were joined shortly after by our mutual friend S. I was worried that having S there would make it weird, but it wasn’t. He is pretty flirty but a nice guy. And we have a common history (high school) so it is kind of nice. So we all had some beers and food and just hung out.

We walked to the stadium, got our tickets and settled in to watch my hometown team get crushed in the first 4 innings. After that, we had a fair comeback, but still not enough to win. Although to be fair, the team we were playing is the leader in the division, and has a viable shot at winning enough games to make it to the World Series. It was cool because we were right by the bullpin, so we got to check out some pitchers. Well, I did anyways.

The game itself was fun. I’m still not sure of the vibe I’m getting from him. He’s really considerate, a good listener, so hot, and funny. But, he did make some comments about moving by December or May at the latest. And by moving, it’s back to the Pac NW or to Vegas. Not exactly what it is in my long term goals. So part of me thinks, why bother? But the other part says, why not? Just see where it goes and have fun. Unfortunately, my practical and reasonable side will probably prevail and we’ll end up being friends.

He did walk me to my car and gave me a big hug. Which is a good sign right? i just don’t know. He also mentioned hanging out more in the future.

Okay, now it’s time for bed. Unfort, my roommate and her bf are watching some show at extra loud volume. Awesome.

  1. Hugs are good, ask is asking to hang out more. You could always just ask him if he likes you :D Also, as to moving and stuff, you never know, it could work. Sometimes you find like taking you in directions you never imagined and you just make it work :D

  2. Good point. As my friends are all saying, I’m over-thinking this. I need to just let it ride out. And I really think I like him!
